They have gifted this sweetaholic the ultimate cookbook that will definitely cause… a Sugar Rush! If you remember the handsome… and very talented… bad boy motorcyclist Johnny Iuzzini, who gave us the cookbook “Dessert FourPlay”… Then you are in for a minding blowing sweet treat with his new cookbook “Sugar Rush”
After all... what’s the purpose of “Dessert FourPlay” without a little “Sugar RUSH” afterwards? The cookbook “Sugar RUSH” was released today September 30, 2014… and believe me… you definitely want to add this cookbook to your collection.
This is the kind of cookbook I wish they had out 10 years ago when I was trying to learn how to make my Grandma’s Butter Pound cake… which now serves as a paper weight. When you first received this cookbook, don’t take it to the kitchen…. take it to… the living room.
That’s right take it to the living room and curl up in your favorite chair with a little coffee or wine, or whatever makes you happy, and read the cookbook from cover to cover. I guarantee you this cookbook will making you fall in love with baking...This is the next best thing to having Johnny Iuzzini in your kitchen.
Sugar RUSH is easy to follow with step by step instructions... accompanied with the most amazing photography. This book is so beautiful I couldn’t simply leave it on the kitchen shelf, this book as earned its place on the coffee table.
Feeling inspired by the beautiful photography, I recruited some volunteers for a little kitchen testing. I told the ladies we would be spending the day with Johnny Iuzzini… technically it was true…the step by step instructions really make you feel like he’s right here with you.
So by now you figured out that baking is not one of my strong points, but for some reasons the ladies decided to kitchen test “MACARONS.” Now we all dream of those beautiful and colorful macaron from "Laduree" in Paris, now trying to make them is another story…
We followed the steps for the Macaron recipe, and we prepared ourselves for making the impossible...possible.
The results…Amazing… Beautiful… and Delicious Macarons. My only regret…we didn’t stop eating long enough to take photographs.
