The High-Street Bride (Book Review)

Posted on August 19, 2014 at 1:35 PM

At first glance you may think that the high street bride is a fictional character, however when you open the book you get something so much more than a fictional character… you get a nonfiction book that serves as guide to help you plan your Fairytale Wedding.

However, this is not your average how to wedding guide, this is the Holy Grail or in my Buddhist World… the Lotus Sutra of Wedding planning guides. This book shows you how to plan your Fairytale Wedding without a Fairy God Mother…however after you read this book… you might just think Author Samantha Birch… is your very own Fairy God Mother.

“The High Street Bride’s Guide” contains the ABC’s of planning your Fairytale Wedding without a King’s ransom. The book is humorous, as it is educational, but more importantly it teaches you how to be a high street bride by obtaining those high street labels that you once thought was unobtainable…regardless of your budget.

The book comes in a convenient eBook format and the book is divided into chapters with convenient headings that you can jump to on your device. However for those of us who are technology challenged… it now comes in a paperback.

I found the author’s own personal story about planning her wedding and her guilt riddle confession about not being totally honest with her reception venue about her BBQ… humorous and I felt her pain when the price tagged doubled. I felt like I was having a conversation with an old friend over a cup of coffee, which made this book very easy to navigate through.

The High Street Bride’s Guide is a most have, whether you planning a wedding, bridal shower, wedding anniversary, or sweet 16 party…there is something in here for everyone. This book will help you look and feel like a millionaire regardless of your budget, without the millionaire price tag. So “Put your best foot forward, but don’t pay top dollar” and have your Fairytale Wedding you have always dreamed of with the help of the High Street Bride. I highly recommend this book and I guarantee you…you won’t be disappointed.
